Pingo does not have a top of the mind recall, but the company is trying (and I must say, doing reasonably well) to establish its brand. Here's the deal:
- For the next three months Pingo is offering half rates to any destination on special days (read holidays). The special days are December 10th,17th, 24th, 31th; January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th; and February 1st till Feb 7th. That is, if you call on one of these days you will be charged only half the rate (e.g. 2.25 US cents if you call India)
- This is not all, you can also use the special coupon code "freevcalls91" to double your credit (effectively costing only 1.125 cents to India).
- Firstly, you get $5 worth of free calls when you buy credit at Pingo. So, for instance, you buy credit worth $20, you actually get calling credit of $25.
- You can also get more credit by referring friends. For every friend that you refer, you get calling $5 credit.
